Asphalt Plant
The Rockwell Crusher asphalt plant accurately weighs and mixes aggregates and bitumen to produce uniform, high-quality hot-mix asphalt for road construction projects. This plant is built in two models, with capacities of 120 and 160 tons per hour.
Application
Producing hot-mix asphalt for road construction, urban street paving and civil projects. The aggregates this plant needs are usually supplied by a sand and gravel production line — a line whose equipment is also built by Rockwell Crusher.
Made by Rockwell Crusher
This plant is fully designed and built in the Rockwell Crusher workshop in Shahr-e Qods. As a result, its spare parts are always available, and our technical team is there for you for installation, commissioning and after-sales service.
How Does an Asphalt Plant Work?
- Aggregate storage and feedingAggregates of different gradations are stored in separate bins and fed into the line in the required proportions.
- Drying and heating aggregatesBefore mixing, the aggregates are dried and heated to the temperature required for hot-mix asphalt production.
- Weighing aggregates and bitumenAggregates are weighed with automatic electronic scales, and hot bitumen is injected in precise amounts by the metering system.
- Mixing and dischargeThe twin-shaft mixer blends aggregates and bitumen evenly, and the finished asphalt is discharged into trucks.
