45-Inch Cone Crusher
The Rockwell Crusher 45-inch cone crusher is a high-capacity machine for secondary and final crushing of hard rock. It works with seven types of crushing chambers, from extra coarse to extra fine, on a single body, and its capacity reaches around 400 tons per hour depending on the chamber and discharge setting.
Application
Secondary and final crushing of hard, abrasive rock such as granite and basalt in high-capacity sand and gravel production lines. This machine is usually placed after the jaw crusher, and its output goes to the vibrating screen or, for manufactured sand production, to a VSI crusher.
Made by Rockwell Crusher
This machine is fully designed and built in the Rockwell Crusher workshop in Shahr-e Qods. As a result, its spare parts are always available, and our technical team is there for you for installation, commissioning and after-sales service.
How It Works
How Does a Cone Crusher Work?
- Rock enters the crushing chamberRock enters from the hopper at the top of the machine into the space between the mantle (inner cone) and the concave (outer bowl).
- Gyratory motion of the coneThe cone rotates with an eccentric gyratory motion, constantly narrowing and widening the gap to the bowl.
- Compression crushingWith each rotation, the rock is squeezed and crushed between the mantle and the concave, gradually moving down the chamber.
- Product dischargeCrushed rock exits through the bottom opening. Product size is controlled by the chamber type and the closed side setting (CSS).
Features
Rockwell Crusher 45-Inch Cone Crusher Features
Seven crushing chambers
By changing liners on a single body, the machine can be used for anything from extra-coarse to extra-fine crushing.
Even-wear liners
The special design of the mantle and concave ensures even wear, so the crushing power is maintained throughout the liners’ service life.
High capacity
High motor power combined with the chamber design brings the capacity up to around 400 tons per hour.
High product quality
Consistent gradation and high-quality output for producing sand and gravel that meets standards.
Lower production cost
Long liner life and less frequent replacement reduce the production cost per ton.
Hydraulic overload protection
An automatic hydraulic system protects the machine against tramp metal or uncrushable material.

Which chamber should I choose? The right chamber depends on the size of the rock coming from the primary crusher and the gradation of the final product. Coarse chambers (EC and C) accept larger rock and suit secondary crushing. Fine chambers (F and EF) are used to produce fine gravel and sand in the final stage. For an accurate selection, share your rock and required product specifications with our experts.
36-Inch or 45-Inch? 36-inch cone crusher is suitable for lines with capacities up to 170 tons per hour. The 45-inch version is built for higher-capacity lines and, with seven crushing chambers, offers more flexibility in product gradation.
