36-Inch Gyratory Crusher
The Rockwell Crusher 36-inch gyratory crusher is designed for crushing hard rock in mines. Its large feed opening accepts larger rocks and provides a capacity of 220 to 260 tons per hour — a good choice for lines that need high capacity in sand and gravel production.
Application
Primary and secondary crushing of hard rock in mines and sand and gravel production lines. Feed rock up to 300 mm enters the machine, and its output goes to the vibrating screen for grading or to the next stage of the line for finer crushing.
Made by Rockwell Crusher
This machine is fully designed and built in the Rockwell Crusher workshop in Shahr-e Qods. As a result, its spare parts are always available, and our technical team is there for you for installation, commissioning and after-sales service.
How Does a Gyratory Crusher Work?
- Rock enters through the large openingRock enters the crushing chamber from the wide hopper at the top of the machine.
- Gyratory motion of the coneThe inner cone rotates with an eccentric gyratory motion, constantly narrowing and widening the gap to the outer wall.
- Compression crushingRock is squeezed and crushed between the cone and the wall, gradually moving down the chamber with each rotation.
- Product dischargeCrushed rock exits through the bottom opening. Product size is controlled by adjusting this opening.

Gyratory or 36-Inch Cone Crusher? The gyratory crusher has a larger feed opening (up to 300 mm) and higher capacity (220 to 260 tons per hour) and is suitable for coarser rock. The 36-inch cone crusher , with a smaller opening, is used for finer crushing in later stages of the line. The choice between the two depends on your feed size and final product.
