Heavy-Duty Vibrating Feeder
The Rockwell Crusher heavy-duty vibrating feeder delivers rock to the jaw crusher at a steady, adjustable rate while separating soil and fines from the rock through the grizzly section at the front of the machine. With a capacity of 100 to 180 tons per hour and an 11 kW motor, it is a good choice for small and medium lines.
Application
Feeding small jaw crushers in quarries with coarse rock and in river-rock mines. This feeder sits at the start of the line, under the truck dump point or hopper, right before the primary crusher.
Made by Rockwell Crusher
This machine is fully designed and built in the Rockwell Crusher workshop in Shahr-e Qods. As a result, its spare parts are always available, and our technical team is there for you for installation, commissioning and after-sales service.
How Does a Vibrating Feeder Work?
- Receiving rockRock is dumped from the truck or hopper onto the feeder pan.
- Vibration and material flowThe vibrator under the machine shakes the pan, and the rock moves forward slowly and evenly.
- Grizzly separationAt the end of the pan, soil and fines fall through the bars of the V-shaped grizzly.
- Crusher feedingCoarse rock enters the jaw crusher from the end of the feeder. The feed rate is controlled by adjusting the vibration amplitude.

Vibrating Feeder or Horizontal Feeder? The heavy-duty vibrating feeder is for small and medium lines and for feeding small jaw crushers. For high-capacity lines where rock is dumped directly from large trucks, the horizontal feeder , with a 30 to 90 ton hopper and capacity of up to 1000 tons per hour, is more suitable.
